Parisa began her career at Chatto & Windus in London, where she worked for ten years editing fiction, nonfiction, and an award-winning poetry list. In 2017, she moved to New York to join Hogarth Books, where her authors included the winner of the 2024 Nobel Prize in Literature Han Kang, Anuk Arudpragasam, Sarah Manguso, Heidi Julavits, Xuan Juliana Wang, Lillian Fishman, Khashayar Khabushani and Sanae Lemoine, among many others. The titles she has edited have been awarded or finalists for the Nobel Prize for Literature, the National Book Award, the Booker Prize, the National Book Critics Circle Award, the NYPL Young Lions Award, the PEN Awards, and the Prix Goncourt (France).
